What this course is for
Motion graphics is design that moves: the animated logo at the start of a YouTube video, the price that pops up in a sale ad, the lower third on a news channel and the explainer video on a startup's home page. Brands now publish video every day, so people who can design and animate are in steady demand.

Is After Effects hard to learn for a beginner?
It looks busy at first, but it follows simple rules: layers, keyframes and timing. We start with design and editing basics, so by the time you open After Effects in month 4 you already think in layers.
What is the difference between video editing and motion graphics?
A video editor arranges filmed footage into a story. A motion designer creates moving graphics: titles, animated logos, infographics and effects. Most jobs want both, which is why this course teaches editing too.
Do I need a powerful laptop?
